WHAT IS NET METERING?
Net metering is a government policy that allows solar system owners to connect their system to the national grid. When your solar panels produce more electricity than you need, the excess is sent to the KESC grid. Your meter runs backwards — and KESC credits that electricity against your future bills.
Since 2022, net-metered solar installations in Pakistan have nearly doubled. Solamo Energy manages the complete NEPRA and KESC application process so you never have to deal with the paperwork.
